When he knelt on the floor, Lord. I think I also felt what Siza was feeling, especially when he slipped the twenty-carat diamond ring onto her ring finger… I died and woke up because I had to come back to earth and continue telling the story.

Now I’m asking myself… did the ring stun her or was it the proposal?

Many questions are popping into my mind as I question you.

What’s with women and the engagement ring and the proposal? I can confess that the proposal gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling, but I’m interested in knowing what others think or feel.

What drives a man to propose to a woman?

And… what makes her say yes to his proposal?

Is it love, abandonment issues, or booking her as if he wants to own her? (someone once said to me) or someone will steal her from him, which pushes me to another question… Is it control on his part, or what is it?
